IndieCAT Tools is a free directory of computer-assisted translation tools built by independent developers — people who use CAT tools professionally and built something because the big vendors didn't.
It exists because useful tools get built and nobody finds them. The translation software market is dominated by a handful of large vendors with large marketing budgets. Independent developers don't have that. This directory is an attempt to level that, modestly.
Every listing is reviewed and published by the curator. Information is accurate to the best of the curator's knowledge at the time of listing, but tools change — if something is out of date, use the contact link below.
No tool pays to be listed. No tool is promoted over another for any reason other than the Featured designation, which marks tools built by the directory's curator.
